Program Overview & Mission

The BAAM Wellness Program aims to create a healing environment for incarcerated individuals by combining trauma-informed psychology practices with holistic wellness techniques. Our mission is to provide participants with tools to unlearn toxic habits, heal from past trauma, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Through these methods, we strive to help reduce recidivism and foster positive transformation within the prison system.

We focus on promoting emotional resilience, personal growth, and mindfulness by addressing issues related to trauma, abandonment, and inner child healing. By equipping participants with daily practices for stress relief and emotional regulation, we aim to help them build a foundation for a healthier, more purposeful life post-incarceration.

This is a volunteer opportunity for those who are currently teaching wellness modalities and/or have a background in psychology/sociology with a passion for bringing awareness to holistic wellness and healing. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about program please send us an email at [email protected]
